Overview
The tester is used to determine the Heat Deflection Temperature or the Vicat Softening Point. All the specimens are charged with a constant load and immersed in a bath, where temperature is increased at a standard velocity. The attained heat resistance rate of plastic material is a widely required parameter for product characterization, for quality control, as well as for evaluating their conformity to the previewed applications.
Standards : ISO 2507, ISO 75, ISO 306, ASTMD 1525, ASTMD 648 and the equivalent.
1/Technical Parameter:
- Number of stations: 6
- Temperature measuring point: 6
- Control & Display: Touch screen, with USB port for data acquisition to PC.
- Temperature control range: RT - 300℃
- Maximum temperature error: ±0.5℃
- Heating rate:
50℃/h, 120℃/h, any other rate can be selected between 3-120℃/h.
With an accuracy of ±1%/6min.
With upper temperature setting function, it will stop heating when the mediumtemperature reaches the setting value.
- Medium: Methyl silicone oil
- Thermal expansion coefficient of work station: 0.005mm/100℃
- Deformation measuring range: -1.00 - 9.00mm
- Deflection measuring instrument: Digital gauge with communication interface
- Cooling method:
Natural cooling (medium temperature more than 150℃)
Water cooling or natural cooling (medium temperature less than 150℃)
- Test capability: HDT, VICAT ; HDT and VICAT results at the same time
- Kinds of graph: Deflection or Penetration curves Vs Time or Temperature

- Span of specimen support: 64 or 100mm according to ISO or ASTMD standard

- Power supply: (220-15% ～220+10%)VAC 50HZ
